John Schraudenbach is the CFO & Financial Executives Practice Leader for The Goodwin Group in the US.

He is a trusted, credible and insightful Business Executive and Board Member. John has extensive and broad leadership experiences working with a variety of clients ranging from venture backed startups to multi-billion dollar publicly traded global companies and industries including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, retail, technology and more. He currently serves on a public company board and has participated in over 100 audit committee meetings while at EY (Ernst & Young). His expertise in corporate growth strategies includes considerable M&A with both strategic buyers and private equity. John has substantial experiences with cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, audit, accounting and internal controls. He is adept at resolving business and accounting issues through research, collaboration and solution generation and is known for having a “sound grasp of the facts, a well-reasoned point of view and an appropriately objective mindset.” John successfully builds and motivates high-performing teams, consults and coaches senior leadership through key strategic planning decisions, vital change management issues and other organizational and market challenges.

Previously, John was the Senior Client Service Partner for the Americas Assurance Practice at EY where he strategically advised, influenced and led the organization to optimize Partner success and develop impactful programs. He helped guide a mature, $4 billion Assurance practice to sustain annual growth while supporting 2,500 Americas partners. John created and championed a successful “Relationship Partner Program” to help highly technical partners develop essential stakeholder relationship skills and mentored Partners through leadership and business challenges.

John currently serves on the OneWater Marine (ONEW) Board as Board Chairman, on the Printpack Board as Audit Committee Chair and on the University of Georgia Foundation Board. In 2019, he was the Distinguished Alumni Recipient from The University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. He is married and has three grown children.
