Jay Clarke is Founder and CEO of Renew Co., based in Franklin, Tennessee. Renew Co.’s roots go back to 1999 with the founding of Magazines.com which quickly grew into the largest magazine subscription agency on the internet. Using its expertise in online marketing and subscription technology, Renew Co. launched CleanerFilters.com, an air filter subscription business, in 2013. It was acquired by a larger competitor in 2017. In 2015, Renew Co. acquired Natural Healthy Concepts, one of the internet’s largest retailers of professional grade vitamins and supplements. Renew Co. transformed Natural Healthy Concepts into a recurring revenue, autoship business model. Prior to Renew Co., Jay Clarke was CFO of Monorail Computer Corp. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with SunTrust Bank, Atlanta, lastly as Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking. He is a 1984 graduate of Georgia Tech. Clarke lives in Franklin with his wife. They have three adult children. Clarke is active in Young Presidents’ Organization and Christ Community Church. He has held board positions with Christ Presbyterian Academy, Christian Leadership Concepts, the Nashville Technology Council, and the Better Business Bureau.
