Joe built a career on relationships. Over four decades, he helped leaders and organizations find the right match not just on paper, but in character, values, and culture. That belief became the foundation of The Goodwin Group, and it continues to shape who we are today.

Beyond his professional impact, Joe will be remembered for the way he made people feel: welcomed, encouraged, and genuinely seen. Whether it was over breakfast, time on a golf course, or a quick call to offer guidance, Joe had a gift for bringing people together and lifting them up.

We are deeply grateful for the example he set, the community he built, and the standards he instilled — excellence, integrity, and kindness.

Joe’s legacy lives on through his family, the many lives he impacted, and the firm he founded.

Joe passed away peacefully on Christmas morning 2025, at the age of 80.
